Encrypted personal data
Local snippets and journal data use device-managed encryption. Keys are stored separately from encrypted writing.
Independent account server
Floquy's account service is a Bun/Hono API with PostgreSQL. Browser authentication pages are served with Next.js.
Signed Mac updates
We are preparing code-signed and notarized Mac downloads with cryptographically signed update metadata. Public release downloads are not live yet.
Development status
No pretend
certifications.
Floquy is still in development and has not obtained a SOC 2 report or other third-party security certification. We won't claim security reviews or production safeguards that haven't been completed.
