Updates shouldn't interrupt a thought

Why a dictation app needs a safer way to distribute and install new versions.

An updater should not close an active recording just because a new version arrived. That's especially important for an app whose entire purpose is capturing ideas.

Our release design uses signed and notarized Mac application bundles, a public downloads location, and cryptographically signed update metadata. The app can offer an update, but installation must avoid interrupting an active dictation.

We're preparing the publishing infrastructure now. There is no publicly downloadable signed release yet. We'll publish clear release notes once the first build passes notarization and update testing.
